Romance of the Three Kingdoms

A novel by Luo Guanzhong, the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, it has become an incredibly popular piece of writing (for something written around 600 A.D.).

It covers the history of China from the period of 168 to 280 A.D, from the fall of the Han Dynasty, to the split into three kingdoms, and to the eventual reunification under the Jin Dynasty.

As of this writing, we have: Dynasty Warriors 2-4 (plus all expansions), Dynasty Tactics, and Kessen II. Also, though not the same, we have Samurai Warriors (and XL). We are looking forward to Kessen III and Dynasty Warriors 5.
