Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty

and me!

Snake sez: "Freeze!"

So, a long time ago, I entered this contest to get my name in Metal Gear Solid 2. I filled out the form and pretty much forgot about it, wondering every once in a while when they would announce the winners. Then one day, while checking my email, there it was. I decided to wait until I was sure I was in there before I told anyone other than my closest friends. And I wanted to have some screen shots before I put it up on the website. So, here it is, from start to finish!

For reference, if you have the game, it's in the Hard difficulty, on the tanker, Deck D. You should be able to find it from there. That is, if you care...

On to the screenshots:

Where Am I? Deck D, in the kitchen!

Tranq'd out

Snake, standing over the body

Snake getting the dogtags

Snoozing, with my name!

My name in the list, centered

My name in the list, at the top

Napping against the kitchen counter

I gotta say, I'm glad it was Snake who took my dogtags, 'cause I sure as hell wouldn't have given them to Raiden!

Here is the message I received:

I'm not doing this to pat myself on the back, well, not too much anyway. A special thanks, however, goes to Paul, without whom I never would have even known about MGS. He's the one behind the gun in all the screen shots. WooWoo Paul (who is Farker number 81, btw). [I am Farker number 80!]
