Ranger

Rangers are a form of specialist Scout that have begun appearing with greater frequency as the Scourge-torn lands and scarred wilderness begin to heal. The first recorded Ranger was an elf Named Juravaelle whose outrage upon seeing the fabled "outside world" the day her kaer opened knew no bounds. She swore an Oath of Blood that she would birth a legacy of protectors and guardians that would protect this savaged land from any who would despoil her. Many Rangers become Questors of Jaspree later in their career, after they have established a protectorate.

Important Attributes: Perception, Dexterity, and Toughness

Racial Restrictions: Dwarves, Obsidimen, and Trolls

Artisan Skills: Wood Carving, Sculpture, and Body Painting

Karma Ritual: The Ranger visuallizes an imaginary animal native to the area where he currently stands and then tracks it through its native terrain using all of his senses and skills. The ritual ends when the ranger finds the animal.
