This troll-sized belt is wider than a normal belt, and fashioned from a strange grey-green hide that seems veined with elemental earth, giving it a distinctive appearance like fine marble. There are small bits of quartz crystal studding the length of the belt that are opaque when not empowered by a Thread but slowly grow more clear and finally transparent when fully empowered, glistening like diamonds.

Effect: The girdle adds +1 Step to all the Recovery Tests made by the character while wearing the Girdle of Antaeus.

Key Knowledge: The wearer must learn the origin of the strange hide that the Girdle is constructed from. The Girdle of Antaeus was crafted from Obsidiman Skin.
Effect: The girdle adds +2 Steps to all Recovery tests made by the character while wearing the Girdle of Antaeus, and adds +1 to Mystic Armor.
Rank 3 Cost: 600
Key Knowledge: The wearer must learn the Name of the Obsidiman whose skin was used to craft the belt. His name was Thelassu.
Effect: The girdle adds +3 Steps to all Recovery tests made by the character while wearing the Girdle of Antaeus, and adds +1 to Mystic Armor.

Deed: The wearer must travel to the site of Thelassu's murder and lay his spirit to rest. This Deed is worth 1,300 Legend Points.
Effect: The girdle adds +4 Steps to all Recovery tests made by the character while wearing the Girdle of Antaeus, and adds +2 to Mystic Armor.
Rank 5 Cost: 1,600
Deed: The wearer must swear a Blood Oath (2pts) to avenge the spirit of Thelassu against his Theran murderers. Only the death of his slayer will suffice.
Effect: The girdle adds +5 Steps to all Recovery tests made by the character while wearing the Girdle of Antaeus, and adds +3 to Mystic Armor. Once per day, at the cost of 3 Karma Points, the wearer may call upon the healing power of the Living Earth to heal him. The wearer must be standing on natural soil or stone and after invoking this power is allowed to make all of his remaining Recovery Tests one after another until all are spent or the wearer is out of Recovery Tests. Invoking this power automatically heals one Wound, and cures any disease or poison.
